MusicBox’ investigates how the brain perceives dimensionality in relation to human gesture and movement using abstracted temporal and spatial data. Sound and image interlock to generate an intriguing liminal space set between the abstract and the descriptive, between pure mark making abstraction and concrete figuration. 'Music box' is the first film to come out of an on going research and development project funded by the arts council of england.
